City of Regina Map and Hummingbirds

When I was instructing drawing classes to elementary school children, I developed a simplified City of Regina map for students to add textures between the lines of streets.  I took that same curriculum and sketched out a map to scale and then went crazy on it with paint.  I thought that some of the round-abouts coming off of Ring Road looked a bit like flowers.  The idea took off from there to add hummingbirds.  City of Regina like it’s never been seen before.  Viola!
