Pelican Train

I often see pelicans out at the beach.  Their iconic bullet-shape bodies and massive bills make them great muses.  My friend and photographer Donna Grandison took pictures of the pelicans as they coasted through the creek near her acreage on a windy spring day.  The pelicans floated along the spring runoff with their crazy hair flying.  Thank you Donna for giving me permission to use your photo for this piece.
