Australian Shepherd happydog

For those that know me, I love animals and particularly dogs.  Currently I have two little rescue dogs.  Last summer an Australian Shepherd was loose and ended up on my deck.  I took a picture of this happy dog with the intent of posting to find its owner.  Within a minute of taking the picture, a whistle and holler from nearby was all it took for my new furry friend to vanish.  Regardless, I chose to paint Mr. Happy in a vibrant pop-art way with a “Starry Night” textured sky.  I love how it turned out.
