Trees Purple Mountains

I had this old metal piece of wall art from Sears Bargain Centre (before it closed – sniff).  I used the wall art as reference and tried to replicate it in acrylics.  I wanted the colours to be a bit unusual and contrasting, hence the purple mountains and peach rocks.  When I finished my boyfriend said, “Yeah, Group of Seven”.   Hmmm.
