Blue Bird Cafe & VW Bug Burgundy with Seagull

It’s so much fun to paint the Blue Bird Cafe – such an iconic landmark in southern Saskatchewan.  This is the third one that I’ve completed, I believe.  This time I turned the piece vertical and changed the VW Bug from the standard blue to burgundy (thank you to the person who parks their beautiful bug near Speers Funeral Home; note the Mardi Gras beads on the mirror).  The seagull just kind of makes sense (we’ll say that he/she already ate some dropped french fries).  Enjoy!
