Blue Bird Cafe & Seagull Photobomb

I’m so captured by the iconic stature of the Blue Bird Cafe in Regina Beach, Saskatchewan.  It’s likely about the 5th painting I’ve done of this landmark from southern Saskatchewan.  This is the second painting where the seagull is the main player in my Blue Bird Cafe painting.  And, who can’t resist a crazy seagull plunking its face right in the camera lense.   Check out the people in the piece.  It’s always curious to capture peoples’ actions as they place their orders for fish and chips, and then sit or mill about as they wait for their order to be called up.  There’s a whole narrative going on that piques the imagination.
