Flying Whaaalenza Tight Rope Walker over Tyvan, SK

Well  . . . . what can I say.  I painted 3 fat ladies as hot air balloons flying over Tyvan, SK grain elevators.  I had so much fun doing it and some suggested that I do a series – “What the heck!”  I chose to have a single Flying Whaaalenza as a tight rope walker, precariously traversing the grain elevators.  There is quite a bit of danger here – LOL – as the umbrellas are clearly undersized, her tiny shoes and ankles could give out, the telephone wires and telephone pole are clearly straining, and then there’s the unknowns associated with the bird.  It’s anybody’s guess if she makes it or not.  Regardless, she is bright and courageous and making her way in the world.  An original.  A visual treat.  A conversation starter.  And definitely good for a light-hearted laugh.  Enjoy!
