Lumsden Hill #2

$1,100.00

A couple of years ago, I painted this scene but on a smaller scale.  We were driving from Regina to Regina Beach when I saw a train come through the valley.  As I was driving, I threw my phone at my co-pilot and asked him to snap the shot before the train rounded the bend.  It was a rather bland photo, on a somewhat gray day.  By popping up the colours, and making it look sort of like stained glass, it became one of my favourite pieces.  The smaller version of this piece sold rather quickly to a fitness friend of mine.   I decided to paint it a second time, on a larger scale, as I was longing to see it again.
