Old Grey Farmhouse Wild Sunset

I have always liked old weathered barn wood.  And, particularly, I like when old farmhouses really start to show their age, and near their fall-down stage of life.  It’s like they are displaying their lives well-lived and a way of life that no longer exists.  So, I took a picture of a sunset at the beach that looked like colourful, retro stripes.  I also took pictures of old fence posts and a broken water pump in my home town of Tyvan, and a lone, old farmhouse somewhere between Tyvan and the next town down of Francis.  I combined these elements to come up with this bright landscape.  It’s way brighter and more impressive in real life – then again, I’m a bit biased.  LOL.
