Ostrich at Sunset

$500.00

I followed a YouTube video explaining how to paint a sunset with acrylics.  Upon nearing the end of the tutorial, the instructor asked participants to make the painting their own.  I decided that the sunset looked boring without some sort of “story”.  I started by adding an ostrich.  Again, I thought it needed more of a story, so I added a silhouette of birds flying in the distance, which led to the tear in the ostrich’s eye.
