Storm Clouds over Highway going into the Distance

Looking up at the Prairie sky is a hobby of mine.  Just wait and watch and something amazing will happen.  Storm clouds have a particular air of danger, tinged with crazy colour combinations.  I saw this image and felt that it might work well if painted with a palette knife, having just taken a class from DeLee Grant.  The power poles along the highway are symbolic of simpler times, of days gone by.  I think that I captured the emotion of that “slice of time”.   Scary beautiful, isn’t it.
