Wild Horses Freedom Run

When I was in elementary school, I loved jumping on my little pony Flicka and riding bareback wherever the wind took us.  Once we joined the local Quarterhorse Club, my Dad purchased registered horses that were much larger and more suitable for competition.  My love of horses waned with the tedium of pleasure riding and the pressure of rodeo competition.  I continued to participate mainly as it meant more one-on-one time with my Dad.  This piece speaks to my original love of horses – freedom, escape, and excitement.  Feel the rush!
