Buffalo (Log Disk)
When I was gifted a box of log disks that were harvested from my home town and sanded down by my 80+ age father, I took the opportunity to paint animals. For my first foray into log disk painting, I chose a few of my fav’s – fox, rabbit, owl, and buffalo. I spent many an hour priming, painting several layers, and protecting my unique pieces. These little guys went to a “Pop-up Show” at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre. I’ve got a few blanks left and have been told that there’s more where they came from, so I will be painting more wild critters at some point.
