They say to paint what you know. Well, we’ve been targetting walleye at Last Mountain Lake for many years. I must say that our largest catches have come from using Shelley & Dean Paslawski’s jumbo leeches. Although, Dad caught a monster walleye using a cheap-ass Canadian Tire rubber perch-like bait – so, yeah, well, hmmm. And, yes the lure that the walleye is spitting is one of my favourites – a Lindy Rattlin’ Bait that I call ‘Pinky’ (the leech is deep in that sharp mouth) . Any day fishing is a good day.
