Wild Iris

$400.00

Walking along the Kinookimaw trails, I marvelled at the shapes and beauty in the tiniest of wild flowers.  Of course, I take super close-up pics of these little darlings.  This wild flower reminds me of my Grandma’s purple iris’.  I have no idea if I’ve correctly identified it as an iris, but that’s what works in my mind.  Yeah, and I tried to put a shape resembling a heart in one of the petals.  Lots of height and texture created before painting – super cool.

  • 1.5″ gallery wrapped canvas edge painted – no need for a frame
  • Used Modge Podge and white glue to create texture for the petals
